Our system is designed to be used in hospitals and homes also for measuring and monitoring various parameters like temperature ecg heart rate blood pressure. In this project we have designed the iot based patient health monitoring system using esp8266 arduino. There is this blood pressure and heart beat monitor module electrically connected to the system and physically to be worn by the user. Due to lack of proper health monitoring patient suffer from serious health issues.

It uses wifi module to communicate this information to the internet. Here in this project we will make an iot based health monitoring system which records the patient heart beat rate and body temperature and also send an email sms alert whenever those readings goes beyond critical values. The iot platform used in this project is thingspeak. Also continuous monitoring of icu patients is very difficult. There are lots of iot devices now days to monitor the health of patient over internet. To deal with these types of situations our system is beneficial.

The results can be recorded using arduino. Thingspeak is an open source internet of things iot application and api to store and retrieve data from things using the http protocol over the internet or via a local area network. Pulse rate and body temperature readings are recorded over thingspeak and google sheets so that patient health can be monitored from anywhere in the world over internet. Health monitoring is the major problem in today s world.
